Update for family & friends

Monday 12/5/14
I'm not normally a blogger & I think I've only ever read one other blog. I don't even have a Facebook page! However it was suggested this might be a good way of keeping family & friends updated on what's happening & how I am going.
Today we saw the surgeon  again and surgery is planned for Monday. Depending on the surgery I may be in just overnight or it may be a few days.
Thank you to you all for your love & care shown in so many ways.
We have a great God who cares for us and holds on to us in everything we go through. Romans 8:17-39 is such a powerful reminder of this.
Love Jill

  1. Hi Jill. This is the first time that I have replied to a blog so I also don't know how it works but I thought I'd give it a try. Allison and I continue to pray for you and the family. We pray that Monday will go well and God will give skill to everyone who is looking after you on that day and in the days ahead. May you all continue to trust in our mighty and loving God just as you are now. Love Colin and Allison

  3. Jilly, you and Phil and the kids have been in my prayers everyday. Now that I have the correct phone number for you I'll try and get a call in when the time zones align. Love Wendy

  4. Dear Jill, I'm like Colin Watson (scary thought to be like Colin!) and haven't been into blogging and am like you and not into facebook, but I thought this was a great way to join with others to hear how you are going at this challenging time. When Paul had prostate cancer it would have been helpful to be able to share updates without having to repeat the same information with all who expressed concern. This process in itself is quite wearing and that is exactly what we don't want to do to you at this time. Please let us know the most helpful way to care for you and Phil. Praying for God's peace for all of you. Love Lee-Ann x
